Grad Banquet IMPORTANT Update
As you all know, Grad banquet is only two short weeks away! If you haven’t already purchased a ticket, do so now. Tickets are 30 dollars each. Those who have already purchased their tickets, there has been a mistake in terms of times. Doors do NOT open at 6:30 they in fact open an SIX PM and CLOSE at 6:30. 
Shoppers Grad Make-up
With graduation fast approaching we have a solution to the makeup whoa’s and to lesson the stress. With the grad package of $29.99 we will do your makeup for grad photos, grad banquet and graduation day plus with this package you will be able to redeem $15 of any purchase for grad . The next package is for $19.99 and it is graduation and banquet . With the packages there needs to be a trial run for first application so we can get to know your skin and what you like as for application and what you are comfortable with. This rest-sure’s for the perfect graduation events to make your day less stressful for you . If you would like your makeup done for just one of these days there is a fee of $12 but we highly recommend that a appointment is made to make sure we can dedicate all time we will need to.Call to make a appointment @250-365-5888-2-2. *Tips* for Getting your Grad photos done and looking good.
Grad Photography/Video Tips
With grad portraits being taken every 15 mins there will be a lot to do in that time. Think about how you would like to be photographed in a casual manor and come prepared.
Video:
Grads who choose to, will be recorded for the grad video during the photo sessions. You will have 30
seconds to say what you want. You could give a message to the grad class, friends, talk about your
future plans… always fun especially when watching your DVD 10 years from now. Every grad gets a
free DVD of the grad banquet. This where this video will end up…. Let loose have some fun, come
prepared.
Consider being photographed in:
- Your favorite hockey jersey, but bring a hockey stick as a prop.
- Your basketball or volleyball jersey, but bring a basket/volleyball as a prop.
- Your motorcycle leathers or motor cross shirt but bring your helmet as well.
Consider being photographed with:
- Musical instruments that you may play. Only portable instruments. Drums won’t work.
- Your buddies (no more than six) but make sure that you book consecutive 15 min sessions for all those involved. Wear the same tones of colour, darker is better. If all buddies wear the same tones no one individual will stand out because of colour.
Consider these important photo tips:
- Wear medium to dark clothing rather than prints or loud colours or T shirts
with text.
- Wear long sleeves. This will help you look slimmer and not draw attention to your arms (also for buddy photos).
- Girls in particular should avoid shiny/oily skin a mat skin look is better.
- Don’t worry about facial blemishes; they can be retouched if you choose so when ordering your prints.
Guys bring a shirt & tie…tee shirts do not look good… In most cases your parents will send you back for retakes. The photographer will supply a shirt and tie for those that need one.
Dressing darker will allow your face to be a focal point rather than the colour of your shirt.
Arrive 5 mins early this will help the flow of portraits and give everyone more time.
Grad Photos
Grad Photography/Video
Grad cap and gown photos will be taken at the Castlegar Recreation Complex 2101 6th ave. in the “Columbia” room from Mon Nov 30 to Sat Dec 5. No photos will be taken on Thursday Dec 3
Retakes will take place the following week. A schedule for retakes will be posted at the school Monday Nov 30th. It is important that grads book photo appointments from Nov 30 to Dec 5 as there will only be two evenings of retakes. Retakes can be for photos or video.
Buddy photos are allowed during the photo sessions. 4 people is ideal but no more that 6 please! It is recommended that buddies wanting photos together book their individual sessions in a row. Buddies can do their video messages together as well.
Each grad will be given a photo order form before they leave the photo session.
Proof viewing will be available within 24 hours of being photographed.
For viewing proofs go to www.edchernoff.com then go to the proofing button and use the pass code on your order form for viewing. The finished photos will be retouched should you choose, at no extra cost. Finished photos will generally be cropped to be larger than the proofs.
Photos orders can take up to six weeks to be completed. Please take that into consideration.
Delivery of orders can either be by mail or pick up at 1057 Bridgeview Crescent, in Ootishenia. Pick up will be by appointment, evenings & weekends. Photos cannot be picked up at the School
